Note that Sheffield trains were stoppers west of Doncaster (and east of Doncaster at certain times). It wasn't until later, and class 158 introduction, that the Cleethorpes train became the second hourly fast on the Hope Valley route. In 1989, the Liverpool to Norwich service was the Hope Valley fast with a Blackpool North to Nottingham train every two hours in the morning.

Winter 2013/4 had a token 0549 Mon-Fri semi-stopper working from Cleethorpes to Newark North Gate.

Return service from Newark North Gate to Cleethorpes at 1934.

Guess you are looking for more than that! ;)

When did Lincoln services get cut back to Grimsby? Blackpool is interesting. I know Birmingham was axed in 1992. I still think Lincoln services should be extended to Cleethorpes.
