Is Holytown station looking any better since its refurbishment?
It's not a station I have actually visited before,

390112 London Euston - Glasgow Central 15.03

The 04:28 Glasgow - Euston normally operates via Holytown
Was there any reason why this service operated via Holytown?
Equally, if this northbound service passed through Holytown at 15:03, would it be the 11:20 Birmingham New Street - Glasgow, or the 10:30 Euston - Glasgow?

The only real change to Holytown is the addition of a disabled access ramp from the housing scheme down to the Glasgow Bound Platform. They have also recently replaced a crossover and some of the OHLE masts at the Shotts / Wishaw line junction to the East of the station. They havent done anything to the station its self for a while.

Not really sure if there was a reason for the Pendilino running via Holytown. I suppose it could just have been diverted that way to keep the drivers route knowledge up. Thats the first time I've seen a Pendilino at Holytown in the 2 years I've been going there.
