Went to Holytown today for around 2 hours and saw 5 freights, these were

92015 4S43 Daventry- Mossend Stobart Intermodal 14.44

92011 6S51 Carlisle Yard - Mossend Departmental 14.58

66512 4C07 Longannet - Ravenstruther Empty Coal 15.42

70006 4S41 Rugeley - Hunterston Empty Coal 15.48

66432 4M82 Coatbridge - Daventry DRS Intermodal 16.22

I'd definately recommend a visit to Holytown as it is usually busy most of the day and although there was the 5 freights running, another 3 that usually pass through during that time didn't run, these were the Alcans, Cement and another Coal working.

Yep. Worth a few hours in the afternoon... Go up a few times during the week here and there. Heading up again on Thursday when out mileage bashing. Like to head there then take a bash about at tea time before heading down to Carluke to catch the freightliner and drs then get 380 back to Central (ex Nth Berwick)...

the best time to go to Holytown is probably around 2.30 - 5.30 as most freight passes then.
