2025 is just around the corner. So, what is everyone hoping for in the Hornby 2025 range? I am a massive HST fan collector, so I am hoping for a Midland Mainline tangerine and teal set, and a Great Western Merlin set. A GNER red door set would go down a treat to, but for now I am happy with the 2024 pre-red door livery set as it contains 43096, my favourite power car, and the only one I have ever driven.

It will never happen, but another run of the GWR sleeper set is much needed!

I'm hoping for the official announcement of TfW Flirts.

Whilst I don't think anything has been said officially about them, prototype was shown with others earlier in the year

Something that isn't the usual poorer standard than the competitors; yet somehow costs more.

How about a rerun of an NSE Class 466 networker?
I was always surprised Hornby didn't bring the 466 back when they released the Javelin or NSE slammers. Despite being a late 90s release (1998?), it's a decent model, so just a few cosmetic improvements to bring it up to modern standards and a better motor would have made a world of difference. I remember the Connex one we had could barely pull its trailer!

Unless you model HS1, you're not exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to modern image layouts based in deepest darkest Kent. Same applies for much of the Southern, sadly.

I still have that connex one, it is VERY heavy for some reason

Had one briefly then sold it for a 2-HAL. Only 1 powered bogie with 1 traction tyre. Couldn't even pull itself & the trailer on my 80 cm, flat, micro terminus layout.
