Can't detrain in a fatality, indeed can't move the train in question until the body parts have been removed or disguised unless its in the case of severe delays on a busy route being cause as a result, or unless it is only the driver that can see the remains, not the passenger, although the next sentence does apply. Also cannot force a driver to take a train through a fatality, although he can be asked, his answer must be taken as final, that includes freight trains.

There's a whole rulebook module dedicated to stuff like this - not really nice reading, but it beats speculation and guesswork by a million miles.

Edit - that's not in response to Alex's post, which isn't too far off the wording in the rulebook anyway!
