Hi all,

Sometime during the next few weeks we're thinking about travelling to Birmingham from Tamworth, possibly trying to catch one of the HST's for a change, just wondering how busy they are likely to be, both in standard and first class (might take one single journey first class as a one-off treat).

We would probably be travelling on at least one of the following:-
1V50 Edinburgh to Plymouth, calling Tamworth 1048.
1V54 Dundee to Plymouth, calling Tamworth 1248.
1S51 Plymouth to Glasgow Central, New Street 1556, Tamworth 1618.

Many thanks.

You should defo get a comfortable seats on those trains, all you gotta hope is that they dont put a voyager on in its place, then it could get rather interesting to say the least (AND WARM!!!!!)

The quiet coach, usually the very front or last coach of the train, (coach G I think) is usually fairly empty as people are not allowed to use mobile phones.

I tend to aim for the standard bit of Coach B, tends to be very quiet in there as theres only 10 seats (if they are available)
