Saw an HST last night fleetingly passing through Kentish Town sometime around 8:30-9pm. Looked like an (ex) GWR set... wonder where it was off to!

possibly a transfer of sets between EMT and LNER.
Sometimes they use the old freight tunnel

edit:
if it's a GWR set moving to it's final resting place, presumably it's just come up dudding hill to go up to cambidge/norwich via said tunnel, then onwards via hitchin flyover

Ah yes you are probably right. was dark and rainy so probably mistaken thinking it was GWR! Have to say I’ve never noticed HST go through before but clearly it is a regular thing!

It's a regular movement, the opposite happens in the morning.
Also EMT stable 3 HSTs at Cricklewood on weekdays
