So Hull Trains have confirmed that they have secured a HST with the company saying more information will be announced in January. Does anyone know and details at this stage?

And power cars allocated are/were 43165/190.The HST involved is ex GWR set OC32, the five coaches are currently at Long Rock (Penzance).
It didn't, it came up from Penzance on the 15th. Since then it has gone back to Penzance and then failed to make it back to SPM as an AWS defect on 43165 saw the move terminated at Laira. As a result today's move to Hull was cancelled. The set headed up to St Phillips Marsh depot on the 17/1/19.
What Mk3's are going to Hull Trains that are with 43165+43190.It didn't, it came up from Penzance on the 15th. Since then it has gone back to Penzance and then failed to make it back to SPM as an AWS defect on 43165 saw the move terminated at Laira. As a result today's move to Hull was cancelled.

And has any training been had on the set so far.
Their 180s are proving to be somewhat unreliable. Have a look at this thread for some background.More vehicles to be converted to power doors then and refurbishment? How long is this for? Until their class 802s come in? Or is it also because their 180s are going off lease early perhaps? What could the main reason be for this?
The idea was to have to HST sets that were going off lease from Great Western. They are going to stay until the end of 2019 as nothing was mentioned about them being Power door fitted only to get a reliable service put back is the hope.More vehicles to be converted to power doors then and refurbishment? More like Bombardier depot Crofton (cough).Maybe it's first group can't maintain their 180 fleet properly enough. There are no problems with the grand Central Fleet I believe?
It is much better if people create new threads themselves, however I understand a moderator is going to split this discussion when time permits.
See it.If you see someone else go off topic, please do not continue the off topic discussion. Please either report it (if it needs to be split into a new thread) or ignore it. If you wish to reply with something else that is off topic create a new thread.
They won't.When will 43165+43190 start static training?
Ok I will rephrase that, when will they start driver training for Hull? They won't.

If i'm correct the plan was to have two sets with one out daily and the other spare/standby.Do we know how they are going to operate the HST? Will it have a diagram or be more like a hot spare?
