The Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway has announced that the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway’s ex-Llangollen Hunslet 1873 of 1937 Jessie is to spend the summer on loan with them.
As it happens, the P&BR are hosting a ‘Made in Leeds’ gala in September which will presumably feature Jessie - I wonder if a reciprocal agreement has been set up to see either Illingworth or Beatrice travel to Wales? The Middleton Railway’s Brookes No.1 is already confirmed as a guest.
