Identify the train at Glasgow Central?

Need a bit of help, apparently one of my pals seen a pointy train at Glasgow Central last night, shunting in and out all night, and was longer than the sleepeR being around 10 coaches?

Do you know what colour it was? Only thing I can think of is a Class 800 or a Network Rail recording/measurement train

I'm fairly sure I read that it would have been 800201 and 800202 coupled together.

If it was the posted RTT link the headcode was 5X and it was an electric loco, so the chances are it was an IET.
