It is what it is. Describe the station your thinking of, but you must include:

1) The route your station is on: eg, Great Northern, Thameslink....
2) The number of platforms: eg, 1, 2, 3, 4.......
3) (optional) any other info that might help

If you guess the station correctly, it's your turn to describe a station.

I'll start:

1) It's on the Great Northern Route
2) There are four platforms
3) There was a big train crash there (they had the enquiry quite recently)

I think that's a very easy one to start with!

It does make sense to scrap that. It does make it easy.

Maybe if you just allow people to make a clue that doesn't need to fit any criteria?

I mean I'm sure people would provide enough and not post

'The station has two platforms and it is in Scotland'

Sure Manors became unstaffed in the late 70s, when the Metro first arrived. My guess is Morpeth (although it is partially staffed now).

Let's try with the new style format:
1) South Wales Mainline
2) Two platforms
3) There is no Welsh name for this station (despite being in Wales)

Liverpool South Parkway?
On the Liverpool branch from the West Coast, Hunts Cross-Liverpool DC (local), CLC.
4 platforms upstairs, 2 down.

If so, then open floor.

Yep. Platforms are 0, 1, 2, 3, 3a (a west facing bay) and 4. Swimming baths are visible coming into Platform 0, 1 or 2 on the left.

Next..

Five platforms, all of which at least can have services to/from Liverpool Street
The last few letters in its name are very common on this route!

Colchester: Nay. It doesn't fit the "clue", and has one platform too many.

Shenfield: Nay. Also doesn't fit the "clue". It does have five platforms though.
