If for a whole 24 hours, there was none of the following

Mobiles
TV
No I-pods or MP3 players
Play stations, Nintendo’s or Xbox
No internet
No work, University or college.
You could not stay in bed (the laundry fairy was visiting for imaginary purposes)

What would you do for fun and relaxation?

No bed for 24 hours? Christ!

You haven't said there are no computers (only no internet and no TVs), so I reckon it's DVD boxset marathon time on my laptop. :p

I assume public transport would still be running? So I'd probably do what I enjoy doing anyway: go for a walk in the country or up in London.

Somewhere, not in London
Depends on who else was with me, theres an awful lot you can do without being in bed.

If it where tomorow I'd proberbly just go out for a drive up to the Lake District and sit doing nothing much.

Sleep on the floor. Only marginally less comfortable than a bed, but a whole lot less toturous than the others.

Polish off a couple of books, I think, whilst knocking together a nice roast dinner.

I'll take advantage of the computer and play a few games too.

Have sex for 1/2 hour, and depending on how horny I am, maybe for a couple of hours.

Geordie back from exile.
For me -
Day at the beach enjoying the sunshine.
Evening at the pub enjoying the beer.
Night asleep on the sofa enjoying the peace and quiet.

Ah bliss. :D

Hunt the mythical 'grey' perch (which don't officially exist) in South Hetton pond and get photographic evidence of their existance.

Turn up to view a mansion dressed as the scruffiest chav ever and openly jot notes down of the security system.

Contemplate waking up and finding yourself, having being drugged, left on Mars with nothing but a spacesuit and a note saying 'good luck'.

Do exactly the same things that I do anyway :|:
Go for a train ride somewhere
Have a nice walk in the countryside/climb a mountain
Cook a good hearty meal
Spend some quality time with the missus
Go to the pub
Enjoy the company of good friends

To name but a few typical regular activities. Simple really.

Sega Mega Drive comes in useful here... retro gaming :D
Or if games machines were totally out, theres always the possibility of going Airport and catching a train, and just going as far as it goes. (It would be a bit rubbish if it were the All-Stopper to Manchester, but if it was somewhere "exotic" like Cleethorpes, then I actually find it quite a good way to kill time. Not that it normally needs to be killed! :D )

So much can be done in that time, like travelling, or seeing people, or being creative...

I would probably try writing for most of it, probably with at least a bit of travel - and possibly a conneciton between the two. Now, if only there was someone around who could and would spend that time with me... someone female, and suitable...

Tell me about it :(

90% of this forum probably knows I don't like being single though, so what's new...?

Another idea I had would be using the shower/bath all day! If you need to sleep, lie in an empty bath!

Yeah, 90% of the people I know don't like being married either.
