Reckon that's commercially sensitive information, not in the public domain. Not sure if you could partially work it out, however, if you tried to book multiple tickets for the same train service, all at the same time.

Taking a random journey like Waterloo to Gillingham (Dorset), is there a way of telling how many tickets are left for each fare? Or just showing how many are allocated to each fare?
Some websites will indicate how many tickets are left at the available price when they are getting low (generally in single figures), but that's all you'll get.

Even trying to book multiple tickets will struggle as most websites will restrict the number of tickets you can book in a single transaction. I think it's fair to say that the only thing considered important to most people is the price they have to pay, not how many tickets might be available at any given price.

Yup. Even back in the days of CRS you could only see an actual number of seats left once it dropped below 10, even for a service operated by your own TOC.
