Inter--City Tours: Trips disapeared from Website?

Hello Everyone
Does anyone know what has happened to the IC Tour to Blackpool on Dec 3rd? It seems to have disappeared off the website. Does this mean it is fully booked or has it been cancelled?

Nothing published - expect it is cancelled - the Mark 3 carriages may be needed for Steam Dreams tours.

Quietly cancelled.

A number of operators are cancelling tours due to lack of bookings in the current climate.

The interesting tours are selling out to enthusiasts, but as a new entrant to the market I suspect they don’t have the legacy mailing-list and brand recognition to successfully appeal to the leisure market.

However, their first years tour itinerary was always going to be a canary in the coal mine, in terms of testing demand, but the current economic climate can’t be helping. It must be noted that a number of future, more interesting tours are sold out though and I have enjoyed all my previous Intercity trips, all of which have run. Hopefully they can learn from this and keep serving up enthusiast tours with great traction and interesting destinations for us to enjoy
