It's been a while since the Irish Traction Group last ran a diesel gala, which didn't quite go to plan on the day, but we thought we'd put that one behind us and take another chance, so we're pleased to announce our next gala will take place at Downpatrick & County Down Railway on Saturday 12th October 2019 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the formation of the ITG.
The day is planned to run from 11:50 - 16:00 and should feature locos 146, A39r, and G617 subject to availability, and if the planets align correctly, perhaps we can rustle up something else, maybe even some thumps.
Day rover fares are as follows -
£10/€12 for ITG/IRRS/DCDR members
£15/€17 for non-members
