I can see journeys, but I can't get an itinerary or book anything.

Been like that for over 24 hours for me.

The app appears to work, but can't tailor journeys like on the website.

I was trying Oxford to Coventry via Hereford. Can't see how to do that on the app - or indeed any other site.

As it happens, it now seems to be working again - but that does rather suggest the problem was not at my end.

It does bring home to me how much I depend on Trainsplit for so much browsing and booking. I'd be devastated to lose it.

Do you mean via Worcester? That's obviously a lot longer in time, although the Cotswold line is quite nice. It's going to be twice the price, though.

Cheers.

Nearly got that badly wrong. ;)
If you are Going to split ticket on Oxford to Coventry your options are limited, possibly Banbury or Leamington Spa May produce the best results but the savings will be small, if any.

I think you're mistaken - there are big savings to be had on this route.

As an example:
Off-Peak Return Oxford to Coventry £35

Off-Peak Day Return Oxford to Banbury £7
Anytime Day Return Banbury to Coventry £15.50

Total £22.50 - a saving of £12.50, or 36%

I stand corrected. I was looking at singles
