Jumped the gun?

I noted the stock for the 0744 Todmorden to Wigan Wallgate pass over Todmorden viaduct in the Hebden Bridge this morning. (A 142/150 combo). I noted the same stock going back over the bridge at 0728 in the Manchester direction. Did this train set off from the sidings to early and if so what happened to the 0736 to Manchester Victoria (0637 ex-Leeds?)
