Keys not working in NR trains

Not heard of this problem before, posted by a new user on the TSC guestbook. Can anyone advise?

Can anybody help me - I am not able to run a class 323 or other stock/engines using the key board settings for BVE4

LUL trains work ok.

I've responded to Dave in your guestbook, Steve.

Edit: looks like he might have the wrong keyboard configuration selected under options.

You only need dev mode for developer's functions (function keys).
