Afternoon, on OTT at the moment, i was checking the stops of the 11.35 KGX to LDS (1D12) on March 3rd and it says that the journey is "Timed for a HST", so does that mean on this day a HST will be operating it or is it an error and is the usual 91 running it ?

Also, there is a 1A55 NCL to KGX shown as arriving into KGX at 1112 and this is shaded in grey with the operator listed as "ZZ" (usually this is only for freights) so does anyone have any idea about this.

And finally, what is 0E50, which arrives into KGX at 1127

Thanks

I am assuming that for all three of these we are talking about Sat 3 March?

I would take a guess that 1A55 is a special of some kind, while 0E50 could well be a light engine that attaches itself to the rear on arrival of the Cross, to pull it back out again.

Have looked on a load of railtour websites for steam and diesel and cant find anything there. Checked football fixtures and there are no London clubs entertaining any North Eastern clubs so that is ruled out, as is Rugby as it is a day off for the Six Nations.

Yes, all on Saturday the 3rd.

Looking further down the OTT, there is a 5Y55 to Ferme Park leaving at 1218 from the same platform as 1A55 and 0E50 so whatever it is, its ECS to there.

Just had another look on OTT, 5Y55 returned to KGX at 1828 from Ferme Park as 5N55. It then leaves as 1N55 to Newcastle, running fast to Doncaster.

It does look as if its a special of some sort.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist at all in reality! It looks a lot like a base 'Q' charter path that will rarely actually run - it might get picked up and used/overlaid by the odd charter but certainly won't run every week. There are similar paths on most mainlines and you really won't see much if you go and look for them most weekends...

Same paths are booked for the ones on the OP today (25th) so i think you may be right.

Path was unused with P1 empty until a FCC entered it.

Was a WCRC charter in P2 after i got off the delayed 19.29 arrival from Leeds.
