Previously the ticket price for an AP ticket on Friday 17:19 evenings was the same for the most part. Now Hull is around £50 and Brough £38. As I travel to Hull I split at Brough and buy a £6.60 ticket from Brough to Hull. Only saves a few pounds but adds up over the weeks.
Tonight the train manager queried why I needed the extra ticket as he thought both destinaions were same price. He praised my honesty though.
