Kingston station new cycle hub for 450 bikes open

Just seen that the huge new cycle storage at Kingston upon Thames station is now open

Holds 450 bikes, is this the biggest station bike rack ?

The multi storey structure was built on site of the original station buildings (which were demolished when Southern Railway rebuilt the station in mid 1930s)

York station has racks all the way along platform 1/3. I've no idea how many there actually are, but I guess it's more than 450.

Cambridge Railway Station has parking for upto 3000 bikes and Chelmsford over 1000. So Kingston is not the biggest, but it is great to see further developments.

It didn't look open when I went past a couple of hours ago. Even if it had been, it would have been unusable as the access routes to it were both closed for roadworks.
