Are there any?
There is no mention in Network Rail Plans anywhere that I have found, of some of the various Level Crossing Reduction proposals that were started in CP5.
In particular:
Cambridgeshire Level Crossings Reduction
http://cambridge-level-crossings.persona-pi.com/
TWA Inquiry closed 23/2/2018, effectively re-opened with a note about the revised National Planning Policy Framework which came into force on 24 July 2018, and inviting any further comments by 20/8/2018. Nothing further found.
Suffolk Level Crossings Reduction
http://suffolk-level-crossings.persona-pi.com/
TWA Inquiry closed 25/5/2018, 'the Inspector is writing his report to submit to the Secretary of State'. Nothing further found.
Essex Level Crossings Reduction
http://essex-level-crossings.persona-pi.com/
TWA Inquiry closed 13/2/2019. Nothing further found.
I could add ECML Peterborough-Doncaster whch started life as a list of (34?) crossings but seems to be slowly proceeding on crossing by crossing basis.
Please, is there any further information available at the present time as to a Network Rail's planned approach to Level Crossing Reduction? Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks.
