Line Block - WGC

Just looking on OpenTrainTimes and the north bound slow line has BLOK on a section just south of the Digswell viaduct.

Does anyone know why ? - Just curious

Sounds to me like a short 'safety' block for some track workers to do something. Usually taken 'between trains' so theoretically no impact on the train service, but if something goes wrong trains stop rather than run the group down. It's safer albeit a little more of a faff than using a lookout (and in some places people on the line are totally prohibited when there could be moving trains).

I just saw a sizeable NR crew on the south side of the viaduct ten minutes ago, so sounds about right
