Little bits of local info for All Line Rover trip please

I’m off on an all-line rover later this month and am looking for some local info from fellow enthusiasts please.

• 08 600 at AV Dawson, Middlesbrough. I’m led to believe this is usually left close to the level crossing on Forty-Foot Road. Any other suggested locations.
• Other than the three sets on the Scarborough line where can I see TPE coaching stock?
• WCR coaches – Does anyone know what coaches are in Fort William this year? I’m going to have a nose around Carnforth – but can’t see that there are any vantage points at Southall. Are there any other places WCR keep their coaches? Particularly after 325 “Duart”, 3058 – “Florence” and the other 325 “Amber”
• 975864 and 867 – can they be seen from trains passing Burton or have they moved from this storage location?
• Any idea as to where ex Arriva Trains 12180 is now?
• Class 230s – other than Long Marston – where are these?

Think there are still some stored at Gascoigne Wood - should be visible from trains on the Leeds - Selby/Hull route, or York-Hull via Sherburn in Elmet.

Do you mean 121 032 (formerly used on the Cardiff Bay line)? If so, it's at the Wensleydale Railway.

No, I think he means 12180, as in the Mark 3 vehicle. I have it as being at Loram in Derby, but it may well have moved on since to Castle Donnington or MoD Bicester.

I think he means the Mk3 trailer? In which case unless it's been moved since about March it's at the Castle Donington freight terminal.

230s work the Marston Vale route between Bletchley and Bedford and TFWs are being used for driver training at the moment and can be seen at Chester, along the Wrexham to Bidston Borderlands route and Birkenhead EMU Depot

3058 is currently in the rake of coaches behind 60163 on the 1Z34 Par to Slough
99025 (Amber) and 325 are both in the rake of coaches between 47802 & 57601 on the 1Z22 Weymouth to Coventry

If you check Realtime Trains, you will find one morning service from Liverpool Lime Street to Scarborough and one evening through service from Scarborough to Manchester Airport normally using TPE coaching stock.

I believe that 12180 was moved from Castle Donnington to MOD Bicester on 10/05/21 along with 12181 12179 12177 12178

Did you track down 08600? It's one of the last dozen 08s I've never seen...

Yep - that and 08 774 were parked by the level crossing on Forty Foot Road. Looks like they leave them there at the weekend
