LNER-run ticket offices - how do transactions post on bank statements?

Bit of a niche one this...

Amex is currently offering a generous 10% cashback on all transactions I make with LNER, whether online or in-person.

I'm keen to buy my annual season ticket in person from the ticket office at Kings Cross, which I understand is managed by LNER.

Does anybody know if transactions from this ticket office post as LNER on bank statements?

A recent transaction of mine shows as "LNE RAILWAY KGX STN LNDON N1 6121", and it successfully registered for Airtime Rewards.

As far as I'm aware for airtime rewards any LNER transaction will be recognised, be this the ticket office or train manager card machine

I've only got 5% but both app transactions and those made from York TVMs worked with amex cashback. Oddly the TVM ones took several days after posting to get the cashback whereas in the app I get it straight after it's posted.

Buying LNER vouchers also triggers that Amex rebate offer, so if you know you'll use them within the year they're valid for and can float the cost, it's a good way of getting the most out of it.

My 10% Amex cashback has been extended to 2/11/24 now thats 6 months, I can put off buying the vouchers for a few more weeks!

A quick update for future searchers. I was able to buy my annual season ticket at Kings Cross ticket office, and the transaction is now showing up as 'LNE Railway' on my statement, so I'm anticipating the cashback.

The first clerk I spoke to said it wasn't possible, but I went to a different desk and got it sorted with ease.

I was obliged to get it issued on a smartcard (which is giving me some issues that I'll now post about separately...).
