I acquired this photograph many years ago and have come across it again, would anyone like to suggest where it may have been taken? At this time 5143 was allocated to the Stoke Division, D05, so would it be Crewe Diesel?

Yes I would say Crewe to, did you know that Crewe diesel depot was not first built as a diesel depot but as a steam repair depot.

Is the 2nd Mans windscreen missing as there is no reflection and the wiper arm seems to be extended inwards?

Yes, the window rubber appears to be hanging from the grab rail too.... probably why it was in the depot :lol:
