I'm intending on purchasing a Super off peak return / Off peak return and break the journey at East Mids Parkway on the way up (catching one of the last trains of the day on a Friday, carrying on the following morning to York).
I have done this before without issue starting at St Pancras, but in my experience these trains are always rammed on a Friday, so what I'm wanting to know is could I do this if I started the journey at London Euston, changed at Nuneaton, continued on to Leicester and then changed again to get to East Mids?
Is that a reasonable route?
