Went down by train from Salisbury (drove down from Trowbridge) so I could use my Network Railcard discount, and saved driving all the way there and back. Norwegian Air UK Boeing B787-9 G-CKWN 'Osar Wilde' approaches Gatwick runway 08 on flight D17058 from Orlando Thomas Cook UK Airbus A330-200 G-TCXB, formerly N948AC with Avianca, is seen on the approach to Gatwick Airport on flight MT2609 from Cape Town. Former Monarch Airlines G-ZBAO, now with Thomas Cook UK as G-TCVD, is seen on the approach to Runway 08 at Gatwick on flight MT1047 from Innsbruck WestJet Airlines Boeing B767-300ER C-FOGJ, new as VH-OGJ with Qantas in 1991, is seen approaching Gatwick Airport on flight WS1 from Calgary. British Airways Airbus A320 G-EUYM, formerly based at Heathrow and now allocated to Gatwick, approaches Gatwick on flight BA2623 from Nice. Titan Airways Airbus A320 G-POWK, new to Silkair as 9V-SLN in 2011 and transferred to Titan in 2015, is seen approaching Gatwick Airport on flight ZT772 from Grenoble. Emirates Airlines Airbus A380 A6-EUU approaches Gatwick Airport runway 08 on flight EK15 from Dubai. Airbus A320 EI-DEO was new to Aer Lingus in 2005 and then transferred to Virgin Atlantic in 2013 to work out of Heathrow on domestic runs. When the Virgin A320 operations ceased in 2015, it was returned to Aer Lingus and painted up in the Irish rugby team livery. EI-DEO is seen approaching Gatwick Airport on flight EI232 from Dublin. Aurigny Air Services Embraer E195 G-NSEY, the only jet in the fleet and is used specifically for the Gatwick Guernsey route, is seen approaching London Gatwick on flight GR606 from Guernsey. Norwegian Air International Boeing B737-800 EI-FVH, named Jean Sibelius - Finnish Composer, approaches Gatwick on flight D82425 from Palma De Mallorca. China Airlines Airbus A350-900 B-18902 approaches Gatwick Airport on flight CI69 from Taipei. China Airlines started using Airbus A350's on this 4 times a week flight in December 2017.
