London Terminals - Kettering return

I need to travel from London to Kettering tomorrow, returning on Monday.

I'd like to catch the 1730 tomorrow. On Monday I'll be returning at some point during the middle of the day.

NRE suggests an Off Peak return. The timetable, however, says only Anytime tickets are valid on the 1730. This seems to be correct, from prior experience. Has something changed recently?

I don't know the restriction code, so I can't check the time restrictions.

Which one is correct?

I have a 16-25 Railcard.

There is an easement on evening travel on the outward portion (only) of SVRs on Fridays on this ticket; see:
http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/pdfs/SVR_9J.pdf

"On Fridays the Outward portion of an Off-Peak ticket is valid anytime after 0901 from London St Pancras International."
