I only mentioned their current location on purpose which is what the thread title is all about.
Anyone reading your post that didn't know the history may have read from your post that's what they did, and nothing in between though. Context.
I only mentioned their current location on purpose which is what the thread title is all about.
they're staying with GWR as they are part of the angel 12 that are not going to northern just the 150/1s.
Thank you for clarifying! The Northern network isn't that far from me, so hopefully, I'll get to see it in service soon. The 52 cars of 150209 and 150212 were both damaged beyond repair and no longer exist. The 57 Cars were not put together and exist as an additional car in 150925 and 150926, both GWR and destined for Northern at some time.
Ahh I remember seeing Flickr pictures of some 3 coach Centro Sprinters. They weren't put in those sets at the time they became orphans though. They ran for many more years previously as centre cars in 150/1 sets in the West Midlands.
They did break up some other 150/2 sets to create quite a few 3 car 150/1+150/2+150/1 units as well as the orphans.Ahh I remember seeing Flickr pictures of some 3 coach Centro Sprinters.
They work quite well as 3-car sets. That's just one of the stories but things seem to have changed so often. I'm beginning to realise now that this is the correct version.
They should go in for PRM Mods, a toilet fitted to one of them and work as a new 150/2.
That'd explain why 150926 was running around as a 2-car the other day then.I only mentioned their current location on purpose which is what the thread title is all about. The two 57 vehicles have just been to Wabtec Doncaster for a few days for a C4(I think) Exam and back in the 150/1s. I won't go into their future as there are so many rumours, uncertainties and speculation I haven't mentioned their future.

On another note, anyone know how long the fire-damaged coach from 377442 will likely be out for?
Good question. I’ve wondered too. Was the coach actually written off, or was that messroom talk?
Have been told from a BT engineer, that it is being repaired and shouldnt be too long, the only issue being that they were struggling for drawings for damaged components so it might come back more like a 377/6/7/387 than the classic 377 coach
Honestly don't know, they might have been looking for an easy solution (upload the CAD drawings and CNC the parts out, or compare to what is being produced now to ensure compatibility)Could they not simply look at one of the other units and reverse engineer the components to match?
It hit a Civil Engineers crane.52212 hit an obstruction on the Scarborough- York route. Seem to recall it was a tractor but it may be something from an engineering possession.
I spotted 142072 listed in the 'trains you've seen working' thread in October. Have I missed it's return or is this a misprint?
I believe 321409 will be out of use for a while, apparently there was a pantograph strike and it took down one of the poles with the wires and put a hole in the roof...
264 has been back in passenger service for a couple of weeks now.Any news on 350264 returning to service? It's my last 350 and has been for some time now...
I've clearly missed something, but what happened to 150217? I see one carriage from it has been added to 150278 to make 150978, but that hybrid doesn't appear to be in service either?
Been back as 150217 for several weeks now.
Ahhh, splendid. I assume that means 150278 is back out in its usual formation as well?
