    Hello all,

I got word today that I had passed my assessment centre for the position of Trainee Conductor and that in due course I will be contacted to arrange a ‘final interview’. I’m assuming that because I haven’t had an email or an interview time/day yet is because they’re either setting it up, someone is on holiday who is needed for the interview, or something else etc.

Either way, I would like to ask if anyone knows what to expect at this stage and what I should begin to prepare for. I am very enthusiastic about the operator in question and the route in which they operate, as well as looking for a life-long career with this business and in this industry.

Any and all help would be very much appreciated at this time.

    Thank you all

If you say which operator it is you’ll probably get more specific advice from the people on here mate.

    Cheers.

he did in his first post just be yourself mate, try too relax but not too relaxed , also read up on the company etc and have answers to the standard interview questions prepared, be able to ilabirate on your answers if need be, hope that helps and good luck

Congratulations on passing your assessments. For the interview, I’d echo what’s been said and make sure you have a good knowledge of the company and really do your research. Get out on the network and collate some feedback about the customer experience.

The golden rule is be patient, it’s a long haul through the process, I’m nearing the end of the process after my original application in October. DM me if you want any more info.
