Hi,
Can anybody let me know what tests are actually involved in the LOROL first day assessment? It seems that LOROL differ to other companies and so I have conflicting information. This includes the time allowance for the GB test (ranging from 30 seconds to 2 minutes per page). Also, is this a paper test or on the computer. I would just love to know concise details. Really appreciate your help.

Is this from personal experience Rat? The email I received stated we will be there for 3 hours yet only mentions a concentration test (GB I'm guessing) and DFFT. Can't see how these two would last 3 hours.

Hi sigerbil, the instructions and examples for each of the test takes time.. Hence 3 hrs.

I believe it's 1-2 mins, no more than that. Can't remember properly. But it's paper ones and I felt easier than the computer ones.

thanks evoice :)

is the tea occ test the one where you pick out a phone code and symbol from loads of numbers and symbols ?

and is that 1 -2 minutes for the whole gd test, or per page ? because most of my examples have given me 30 seconds per page.

thanks

I'm not sure about the time, but it could be 30s to 1 min per page. Just keep practising and you should be alright.
And you are right about the tea-occ. symbols and some low frequency sounds.
Good luck and do you best.
