    Hi,

I've messed up a little - I was issued a penalty fare recently on the London underground which I was unable to pay immediately due to having had my debit card stolen and have since lost my wallet which had the slip with the penalty fare number in it.

I've been looking for contact details for anyone who may be able to give me information but have come up with nothing so far. I was wondering if you could please help?

I've been told by someone on another forum that if I get a reminder letter it should have the penalty fare number on it, but they were unsure and I would rather avoid paying the increased fine.

    Thank you!

I've managed to resolve it - I rang the number above and was told they couldn't help, I explained the IRCAS number on the website is automated with no option if you have lost the reference number and eventually got put through to someone as part of the Transport Police who referred me on to an IRCAS number where I could actually speak to someone and pay the fine.

    Thank you for your help!
