In that case Lothian have no shortage of donors providing they can shorten it accordingly!
they could get a roof from Ensign, ensign have just coverted to open top around 10 Abellio/Go-Ahead london B7TLs for Go Ahead Yorkshire so theres plenty of gemini roofs down there they could use

They arent just kept lying around after they chop them off. They go in the skip. 1029, at this point wont be returning and its not just down to the roof.

i know they go for scrap it was just something thats happened in the last month or so there might have still been some. will 1029 be used as donor parts for the remaining lothian geminis or will it just go for scrap? speaking of roofs aswell so you know how 20942 is coming along?

465 on Lothian Country duty at the moment. Currently on the x28. Seems to have been on service 275 on Saturday.

I saw this as well! I also saw one of the double deckers operating the 61 today. Didn't get a good look though.

I tried the EX2 from Linlithgow today to see how it compares to the train. Even with railcard it's still somewhat cheaper than the train and the coach itself was comfortable. I'm from Bo'ness and the C19 is really poorly timed (and often late) and going into Linlithgow to use the EX2 might be my new way of getting to Edinburgh.

The EX2 is excellently comfortable. It has become my main way of getting to Edinburgh after ScotRail shafted Linlithgow during the timetable changes. It feels like it takes about 30 seconds between Springfield and Newbridge as it just goes by in a flash.

Still terminates there on a Sunday just FYI
I think the points being made are
1. The 113 is presently an East Coast service, not a Lothian Country service.
2. The sticker design indicating the 113 is part of the present Lothian Country offering post-dates the adoption of service 113 by East Coast.
Therefore Lothian Buses have put the wrong sticker on the bus stop flag (rather than failing to update an old sticker). Probably worth reporting to Lothian Buses and City of Edinburgh Council.

And which was originally 706. It only carried that number for just over a year before becoming 661.

Were some of the 04 plate Tridents fitted with guideway equipment, then? I know the 04/55 B7Ls were and some 51 plate Tridents (for 2s and rush 22s), don't remember ever seeing 04s though.

Yes, 661G (SN04AFA - currently awaiting scrapping) was one of those 04 tridents who had the guided wheels. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe...est_Edinburgh_Busway,_13_October_2006_(1).jpg

Any bus with a G prefix at the end, or the yellow sticker with G was setup for the guided busway.

Yeah it was taken away a couple of weeks ago but that was the last I heard so not sure if it's been scrapped yet or still waiting, thought I'd take the safe option and assume awaiting scrapping.
looking at the moves a good 15 or so went last month so it might still waiting for it. quite sad to see a good vehicles end up at the scrapman. at least its the only one
