1029 is a Gemini 2, not sure if that will affect things?Others operators have used donor parts from older withdrawn B7TL/Geminis to repair deroofed buses.

In that case Lothian have no shortage of donors providing they can shorten it accordingly! The Gemini and Gemini 2 are identical bodies minus the bumpers and a few other insignificant changes.
they could get a roof from Ensign, ensign have just coverted to open top around 10 Abellio/Go-Ahead london B7TLs for Go Ahead Yorkshire so theres plenty of gemini roofs down there they could useIn that case Lothian have no shortage of donors providing they can shorten it accordingly!

i know they go for scrap it was just something thats happened in the last month or so there might have still been some. will 1029 be used as donor parts for the remaining lothian geminis or will it just go for scrap? speaking of roofs aswell so you know how 20942 is coming along? They arent just kept lying around after they chop them off. They go in the skip. 1029, at this point wont be returning and its not just down to the roof.
465 on Lothian Country duty at the moment. Currently on the x28. Seems to have been on service 275 on Saturday.
I saw this as well! I also saw one of the double deckers operating the 61 today. Didn't get a good look though.
I tried the EX2 from Linlithgow today to see how it compares to the train. Even with railcard it's still somewhat cheaper than the train and the coach itself was comfortable. I'm from Bo'ness and the C19 is really poorly timed (and often late) and going into Linlithgow to use the EX2 might be my new way of getting to Edinburgh.
I think the points being made areStill terminates there on a Sunday just FYI
Looks Like one of the 04 plate Ex-Lothian tridents a Ensign is off to be turned into a can
The following have all gone to Shelton Motors for scrap: Tridents SN04AFA wich was 661
yeah 656-661 were origanally 701-706And which was originally 706. It only carried that number for just over a year before becoming 661.

656-661 were but i believe that was itWere some of the 04 plate Tridents fitted with guideway equipment, then? I know the 04/55 B7Ls were and some 51 plate Tridents (for 2s and rush 22s), don't remember ever seeing 04s though.
i would assume so, would be nice to see some changesIs there changes in the works for Lothian?
Yes, 661G (SN04AFA - currently awaiting scrapping) was one of those 04 tridents who had the guided wheels. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe...est_Edinburgh_Busway,_13_October_2006_(1).jpgWere some of the 04 plate Tridents fitted with guideway equipment, then? hasnt it already been scrapped, was taken away from ensigns mid last month.(SN04AFA - currently awaiting scrapping)
Yeah it was taken away a couple of weeks ago but that was the last I heard so not sure if it's been scrapped yet or still waiting, thought I'd take the safe option and assume awaiting scrapping.hasnt it already been scrapped, was taken away from ensigns mid last month.
looking at the moves a good 15 or so went last month so it might still waiting for it. quite sad to see a good vehicles end up at the scrapman. at least its the only oneYeah it was taken away a couple of weeks ago but that was the last I heard so not sure if it's been scrapped yet or still waiting, thought I'd take the safe option and assume awaiting scrapping.
And yet other companies run around with buses older than it and in worse shape too.looking at the moves a good 15 or so went last month so it might still waiting for it. quite sad to see a good vehicles end up at the scrapman. at least its the only one
