They do seem to do a good job of converting railway buildings in Manchester. The GNR Warehouse is another example/

Bushy - there's lots of old railway warehouses like that. The old LNWRs warehouses near Stockport have become a self storage centre but still have the big white LNWR goods warehouse on the side, nice reminder of the building herritage.

Dig it up, and move it brick by brick to the side of Piccadilly. We need that as our HS2 station to get one over on Pancras :P

Who is it who organises these tours ?

I'm not sure, the link in the OP says:

We are the largest group of qualified, insured and experienced Manchester Green Badge and North West Blue Badge tourist guides working in Manchester and the North West region. Our tour guides will provide informative and entertaining guided walks and coach, cycle or boat tours to make your Manchester experience memorable. We love our city, we love our region and whether you’re in Manchester for business or pleasure we’d love to show you around

I suspect they are something to do with Manchester City Council, as the lady who did our tour works at the Manchester Central "Convention Complex" which she said is run by some sort of arms-length company that is part of the Council.
