Glad to see there is a still-open Manchester Metrolink thread on Victoria as yesterday late afternoon, we used this new Metrolink Victoria to Manchester Airport service after travelling by heavy rail into Victoria and were somewhat concerned that we soon caught up with another single unit on the same Airport route (normally a 12 minute service) that shadowed each other until we reached the Roundthorn stop, where the passengers in our second tram were asked to transfer to the first tram. I think comment was heard from a member of the Metrolink staff that there had been signalling problems in the Victoria area.

Has anyone any hard and fast evidence on what caused the occurrence yesterday.

Watcher Zero has posted on Skyscraper City that there was an hour long signalling fault at Victoria yesterday
