    Manchester - Stoke-on-Trent Anytime Day Single £12.80
SOT - Wolverhampton Anytime Day Single £12.90
WVH - Birmingham International Anytime Day Single £4.80

    Total £30.50

You can get cheaper by buying a Virgin-only anytime day single between Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent, or between Wolverhampton and Birmingham International, but that might severely restrict your choice of trains. The above combination is valid on any train or trains that call at Stoke-on-Trent and Wolverhampton.
