0409 is on the 13 today & 0481 was on the 29 yesterday morning - might all the WFs be moving back to Larbert/Bannockburn?
I think that 0481 had never moved. I guess that’s the beauty of using the same livery though. They can swap them around when required.

0481 is allocated to Larbert depot and it’s usual allocation is the one that covers the F25 service, which also includes a few 29 trips in the early part of the morning.
0480 is the only other WF Streetlite and it is allocated to Livingston for the new City of Edinburgh Council tendered routes.

There was an issue of no timetables and bus stops being updated but not sure if this has been resolved or not yet.

I did pass the bus stop on Pleasance with the timetable added, but the problem is the glass on the outside is dirty it's hard to make out.

Always thought Edinburgh Bus Station should have them but they have taken away paper timetables.

It's absolutely criminal that one of Scotland's main Coach Stations has ZERO publicity. Citylink, Borders, Stagecoach and McGill's all produce publicity and they've got no obvious outlet in the city.

Interesting future Falkirk plans include a new station hub building at Falkirk Grahamston for buses and looks like maybe when new town hall opens some buses may return? https://360architecture.com/wp-cont...inal-Document_Rev-A-240603-SPREADS-lo-res.pdf

Even its not the main bus station it could remain a bus halt or park the new town hall and buses to Grangemouth?
would be great to see a bus station/halt/park in Falkirk again, having buses terminate on U Newmarket St is no longer a viable option as it clogs up a main artery.

I disagree, it’s right in the centre of the town and is an ideal location for a bus hub but Falkirk Council perhaps should’ve done a better job last year when they were working to improve the layout for the eastbound stances.

If they hadn't removed a bus stop it would have been a lot better. It's almost as if they were told removing it was a bad idea and would lead to congestion, but they didn't listen...

I noticed staff from a McGill's van working on bus stop timetable cases in Blackhall a few weeks ago - probably updating publicity for their new service 13.
Not sure how each operator ties in with the council to gain access and share the available space.

Same with Buchanan Bus Station, only Citylink timetables stocked. Only seen Stagecoach timetables in Fife at Ferrytoll.

Stagecoach timetables are stocked at Halbeath Park and Ride, Leven Bus Station and Stirling Bus Station. You can also ask the counter at Dunfermline Bus Station for some. Only accounting for the places I’ve been recently.

There's now timetables at a few stops around Dumbiedykes for the 60, and some stops have the little "Midland Bluebird" rectangles but no numbers as the council doesn't "do" that now.

I never understood why they stopped doing numbers, makes no sense at all.

Wonder if they will implent bus stops at Albert Street at some point for the 13's heading Lochend bound?

And they are still using the old logo from the beginning of the takeover, rather than getting it updated, not sure if it had ever been asked to be updated though.

Thanks, yeah they don’t always put the number.

It doesn’t make sense to me either. Some get them others don’t.

They are very bad at keeping them updated so maybe that’s why they want to put as little information on them as possible but in locations where only one or more routes stop at a particular stop but not all of them, this can be confusing.

For example at Chesser westbound all stops have the N28 Lothian Country service but only Chesser Avenue stop has the X27 & X28 also.

If someone turned up at the stop and saw Lothian Country, they would assume that the X27 and X28 also stopped there (I know that this isn’t the Lothian thread but it was just an example as I couldn’t think of any examples with Midland Bluebird).

And they are still using the old logo from the beginning of the takeover, rather than getting it updated, not sure if it had ever been asked to be updated though.

The one I’ve seen on Princes Street is the old logo. I don’t know why they still use it and I’ve never understood the yellow background.

I think we all saw this coming, and it makes sense, though what I don't get - does the exaggerated positivity really work? Do passengers really read it and get excited about journeys being retimed?

Why not time it so that the buses don’t run together and they are equally spaced so that both operators can gain passengers and also the public have a more frequent bus service?

Although I may not agree with the logic, as far as I can see, it is timed to be 15 minutes after the X19 during the daytime.
