While the following link goes into some detail on the abandoned M&StJWR route from Swiss Cottage to Hampstead with a terminus at New End Square by Burgh House, am interested in looking at other derived proposals such as a few that included a continuation to Highgate and Alexandra Palace.
In the latter case one wonders whether even High Barnet and more were also options had the route been built as well as how it would have likely affected the development of the CCE&HR, if some version of the latter still ended up being proposed and built (potentially interchanging at the proposed M&StJWR’s stop at Hampstead along with the NLL’s stop at Hampstead Heath instead of the existing Northern Line stop).

The second link below mentions the station at Hampstead under the name of Hampstead Village, claiming maps reputedly indicated an intermediate station was also proposed between Swiss Cottage and Hampstead Village. However it does not do into detail as to where the intermediate station was to be located.
