We cannot issue Disabled Persons Railcard's at any of our stations

Whoever wrote this needs a lesson in English Grammar.

Also, note how there is no mention of proof of education being required for 16-25 Railcards where applicable to those aged 26+.

That'd be a lower case 'g'. :p

Sorry. :)

True - but if it's a lesson title, it could be argued that it is a Title [capitalisation intended] in the same way as something like Sociology of Education. In this sense, English Grammar is correct. Similarly, it could be related to emphasis. But I did technically make an error there.

(And yes, that was thought of on the spot.)

It's not correct to say "There are 4 types of Railcard" which is what Greater Anglia say on their website.

You know what, you lot really need to decide what you actually want from the TOC's!

Greater Anglia customers need to be marketed to about 4 types of railcard, those are 16-25, Senior, F&F, and Disabled. This is what THEIR customers are actually interested in.

GA design their website around those needs, and keep things nice and simple, who living in Norwich would want a Devon and Cornwall railcard?! GA probably cant retail them anyway as they will be issued on stock specific to that region!

If GA had put up a list of every railcard imaginable, they would be being attacked by this forum for "Putting out confusing, irrelevant information"!

What about Network Railcards and Gold Cards? Or Two Together Railcards, which they accept but don't sell? And could they not have said "There are several types of Railcard, here is some more information on the most popular types"?

Sorry, this is petty. The four main types of railcard applicable to the vast majority of GA customers are listed, albeit wrongly worded.

Agree with above, very petty and people with nothing better do to just picking up on anything and everything. Also you cannot purchase a Gold railcard so what would be the point of having it on there? They should show Network railcards though as they are available for use on a large part of the GA network.

Perhaps but I think it's pretty terrible that they've missed off the Network Railcard which is only valid in the former NSE area of which GA runs a decent chunk.

Whilst I agree that mentioning out of area railcards is petty ...

... you seem to agree that they have got it wrong.
Also you cannot purchase a Gold railcard so what would be the point of having it on there?
An annual season ticket is automatically a Gold railcard, so you most definitely can purchase one.

Surely the majority of journeys with GA are within the Network Railcard area, but this railcard is not listed.
