Hi all. I need some help with some ticket prices. For a standard cheap day return to Nuneaton from Milton Keynes on May 29. I'm not to happy about the National Rail website and don't have enough time to go down to MKC and find out for myself.

w/o RC, NXEC quotes £14.50 Saver Return. Or £4.50-£8.50 singles each way on various trains.

I used their journey planner /price search engine! It doesn't matter which TOC you look it up on or book through :)

The NXEC journey planner/booking system is breath of fresh air compared to the National Rail/thetrainline. One thing to watch for though are offers that can only be accessed through the TOC you're travelling with.
