I have two galleries for you this week, along with a video to go with each!

On Sunday the 17th I visited the Wells and Walsingham Railway, going out via London Liverpool Street and back via London Kings Cross. The comparison between the two Cambridge-London routes, one slow and comfortable, the other the opposite, was certainly interesting.

The full gallery from the day is here: https://mkttransportphoto.smugmug.com/2016/April-2016/Wells-Walsingham-Railway-17th

And here is some video I filmed at the Wells and Walsingham Railway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FE3-yT6Mov8

Then on Wednesday the 20th I went down to Princes Risborough to get another ride on Chiltern's bubble car service, as well as some photos there and at Aylesbury, where I managed to get both of the day's freight workings completely by coincidence.

Full gallery here: https://mkttransportphoto.smugmug.com/2016/April-2016/Aylesbury-Princes-Risborough/

And here is a short video of 121034 departing Aylesbury: https://youtu.be/IHZvf_QnZq8

Enjoy!

An interesting set regarding Princes Risbo' and Aylesbury. Nice to see the North Box at the former slowly getting into shape.

By the way, the 'Book Boat' you pictured at Aylesbury is anything but 'makeshift'! The owner specifically arranged it to cruise round the canal network as a mobile bookshop.

Thanks! I might amend the caption on the book boat!

I'm glad the Chinnor folks have finally been able to access the box and rescue it from the state it was in.
