MSN virus

Yesterday evening, my brother got a virus on MSN messenger, one of the click the links types. What happened next was MSN was automatically giving the link out on all of his contact list. The same happened to mine last night, so if I've given you a virus, I'm sorry. Basically, IGNORE THE LINK if it says "check :p http.....etc"
Problem was, my brother didn't click it, it opened the page automatically.
Firewall says the virus is Trojan horse.
