Hey it is Andy and john the directors of MSN, sorry for the interruption;
but msn is closing down. this is because too many inconsiderate people are
taking up all the name (eg making up lots of different accounts for just one
person), we only have 578 names left. If you would like to close your
account, DO NOT SEND THIS MESSAGE ON. If you would like to keep your
account, then SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST. This is no
joke, we will be shutting down the servers. Send it on, thanks. WHO EVER
DOES NOT SEND THIS MESSEAGE, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE CLOSED AND YOU WILL COST
£10.00 A MONTH TO USE. SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST. NOW YOU
KNOW WHAT TO DO. PLEASE DO NOT FORWARD THIS or REPLAY. COPY THE WHOLE EMAIL.
GO BACK TO YOUR INBOX AND CLICK ON NEW. AND PASTE

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION!!!

It isnt a very funny joke. If you dont know if it wont be sent on ,then it isnt funny, it may just get ignored, , you can tell its a fake, they cant even write sentrences properly. Although never can i!

It was kind of obvious when I received it on an e-mail address that didn't have a .NET passport ;)

How many times do people have to be told. This stuff is utter tripe and by sending it on you are just pandering to the spammers.

None of that makes sense. You can't even spell 'sentences', never mind write them! ;)

Ah, yes that was supposed to say that it is not a very amusing joke, one of the reasons being that the creators do not know if it is working and you can tell that the e-mail is a fake because they cannot write sentences correctly. Although neither can I... but now I can!

It's not a joke, it's just a waste of everybody's time. Mailservers are provided for people to usefulle email one another, not to send this spam.

To reiterate

If you get ANY email telling you to forward it on to 10 people, don't. You will not get bad luck, die or anything that an email might say. Emails can't be tracked by MNCs so they can count how many people have received it.

Don't clog up servers with rubbish.

One of the reasons my MSN 'passport' account address isn't a real one.

Aye - I know exactly what you mean. I've told Gmail to delete them all. :)
