Looking at this line, it has a very much reduced rail service of 6 trains a day in one direction with buses operating most of the day due to Covid now I'm not familiar with operations here but why don't they just operate buses all day and not run the 12 train services?

Equally, why can't they operate more train services even if it's 1t2h? Or operate one bus calling all stops and one going non stop between each destination? The other question I have is how busy is it atm?
