News coming out this morning that Mythbusters co-host Grant Imahara has passed away at age 49. He was a huge part of a show that I loved to watch growing up and he will be missed far and wide.

RIP.

Sorry to hear this news. Brain aneurysm apparently.

I remember the show well. Perhaps my favourite episode was the one where they experimented with methods of removing dried concrete from inside a cement mixer truck.
Is that the one with the stick of dynamite? (Conclusion: Totally plausible.)

Was Grant actually involved with this particular episode, rather than just the two main hosts (Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage)?

The "Junior Mythbusters" were in every episode, but dynamite meets mixer truck was the main myth of the episode, so their on-screen involvement would have been minimal.

Grant's first appearance in "Mythbusters" was in May 2005, about ten weeks after the "Salsa Escape" episode (featuring the mixer truck and the dynamite) first aired.

Wasn't that one of the myths that they attacked twice? (Going by memory here).

Edit: Remembered incorrectly. The second time they blew up a cement truck was a different myth, based on a MacGyver episode.
