Plaese answer if you know the answer to this one?

How can knowing someone too long be a reason not to go out with someone?

That is one of 3 excuses callie gave me recently as to why she wouldn't go out with me. The other 2 were

1) the distance (fair enough)
2) she ain't ready for a relationship (wtf, everyone could do with a bit of extra TLC)

Just wondered

Womens answers will be VERY useful

I get the feeling what she really wants to say is, 'your an ugly git and I can do much better, but i'm putting it nicely so we can still be friends)

plenty out there, don't cry over spilt milk, never wait for a women for too long, be honest.

Now to answer her question: - she's too friendly with you, she knows you too well and doesn;t wanna wreck that friendship

basic bulla. jus don't bother with her

Got it in one ascot.

If you've known someone you like for a good 5 years (like I have), you really have to ask yourself is it worth risking going out with them, despite knowing them for that long, because if something (it can and most likely will) goes wrong and you split up..

..you ain't getting that friendship back if its a bad split.

Think about it.

Seriously the guys are right on that one. I did it with a girl I'd been friends with for 10 years, lasted 6 months & ended bad. So chucked away a good friend for 6 months............errr.........fun & stuff.

Women are just wierd anyway, don't take anything they say personal & don't ever try & understand them!

So please explain to me why the hell I'm getting married next year! :sign3:
