I can see this is stressful for you, but have you contacted them and asked for an extension to the two weeks yet? Maybe ask for an extra two weeks or tell them the date you will have it back in your possession so you can send them a photo of it. Then you have time to organise going to collect it or getting someone to get it for you. The longer you leave contacting them the less time you will have to sort it.

I assume that you know where the card is? If so, does anyone have access to that location, and can that person obtain your railcard? If such a person exists they can upload the relevant proof on your behalf.

In addition to that try to find proof of purchase of your railcard - then supply that with a brief covering note explaining your extenuating circumstances and ask for an extension. Although not exactly what the railway requires from you that may just buy you the additional time if my first suggestion is impractical/impossible.
