Network rail help ?

Hi,

I applied for the off track maintenance position with network rail in Glasgow and passed the online test and had a very good interview.

It has been a month since the interview and I haven’t heard anything. When I log onto the network rail website on my profile it says assessment centre 2 pending.

Can someone update me on this?

Your pretty much the same as everyone else mate. Had mine in glasgow 13th September, contacted recruitment, HR etc. But still just a waiting game i'm afraid. Im still at pending assesment 2.

Did you hear anything today my mate did I also got word it could take up to February as they only take 8 people at a time for training.

Nope, nothing. Yeah they are hiring up until february, they did a huge recruitment drive through august and september im sure they said they had interviewed 300 people in 3 weeks for various roles spanning til February. Im going to call recruitment tomorrow see what the deal is.

I called today no news is good news I heard. They are taking on higher up roles and working there way down. Like I said it’s only 8 people at a time surely we will be soon enough fingers crossed.
