New Barnet (ECML) - new electrification works

Masts are going in at New Barnet on the down slow, I assume to replace those in the platform. Is this to ensure correct sight lines for 8 car trains, which currently aren't allowed to stop there?

Or it there something to do with Thamslink?

I had noticed these.

I assume that the works on 28 May (bank holiday weekend) is connected with these?
all southbound trains seem to be passing through New Barnet twice - I assume they are reversing back in the New Barnet via the crossover then proceeding south on the down lines?

There seem to be new masts from Hadley wood tunnel to the station look like cantilever rather than head span
